Ryan & Jessica: Depot Market, Bellingham Wedding

Wow… what a whirlwind of a weekend! Not only did I end up photographing 3 weddings in a row but I got to meet some amazing couples who really know how to throw a party.  All 3 couples and weddings were very different and yet each of them had a flair to them that made me say ‘this is such a Bellingham wedding’.  I attended an Urban Bellingham wedding dowtown, a very Natural Bellingham wedding at Beau Lodge and an Elegant Bellingham wedding on the waterfront at the Bellwether Hotel.

First up is Ryan and Jessica who got married at the Depot Market (where the Saturday Farmer’s Market is held). This couple has a lot of personality and even more friends. Have you ever heard of a wedding party with 25 people?!? Wowzers! The ladies all got ready at the Chrysalis Hotel where we started our photo time together.  This first set of photos combines the angle of my assistant (the amazing Nicole Medcalf) and myself. I looooove the staircase at the Chrysalis.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when the groom requested that they play a little football … since they had all those people 🙂

Inside the Depot Market they hung paper lanterns, paper flowers and even those cute letters to spell LOVE over their ceremony area. Great job decorating this unique space!
