Baby bump

My beautiful cousin Joell and her husband Ken are expecting a little boy in September and our family is so excited for them!  While at a baby shower this afternoon I couldn’t help but snap a couple photos of Joell in the backyard. She has always been gorgeous but really… are you kidding me with your good looks while pregnant Joell?

Can’t get ‘em any fresher

David and I spent last weekend camping near Fort Casey with some friends and had a great time.  It is tradition to have a seafood dinner one of the nights we are there, which includes collecting some of the food fresh out of the water.   This year’s menu was crab, clams, oysters, clam chowder and gooey duck.

Little fur ball

A big welcome to the newest addition of the Parsons household. David found this little guy at work and decided he would make a good mouse catcher around our property. David is firm that he will be an outdoor cat when he gets old enough but in the meantime he is getting spoiled to pieces in the house. Right now he is curled up on my shoulder purring directly into my ear. If only he could stay this small forever. 

Married 60 years!
