Kevin & McKenzie: Engagement

Kevin and Mckenzie were the first ones to fill a spot on my 2010 calendar and are planning their wedding for next August. For their engagement session we went on a little adventure with several fun stops. First stop was Berthusen Park where Kevin had a John Deere tractor shined up and ready for the spotlight.

Next stop was at a friend’s property in Sumas. Can you believe the size of the rock behind these guys?

I cannot get over how crazy the reflections were on this lake. It was just like a painting.

Our last stop had a beautiful lookout but as you can see, Mckenzie found something else to admire.

I loooove how vibrant the colors get in the evening when the sun is low and casts a golden warmth over everything. Favorite image of the day!

Chris & Jackie: Engagement

Shiloh & Katy: Engagement

Katy and Shiloh’s wedding is coming up in 5 weeks… whoo hoo! Thanks to Katy for coordinating the use of this great western themed location for their engagement photos.

Along with cowboy boots, Katy also brought along these hot red heels to showoff.

I was really loving these fence lines!

Isn’t it great having the sun back from a long winter hibernation? I love how the warm sun makes colors pop.

Robert & Michelle’s engagement session

Robert and Michelle’s wedding day is almost here! I’m looking forward to seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter again after spending some time together for their engagement session. We almost didn’t think that we would get to take engagement photos last weekend as we watched the sideways rain and hail come down. After trying a couple covered areas however, the rain stopped and the sun broke through as if it had been beautiful all day…. whoo hoo!
