Kolby

This little man braved the cold as I chased him around the park last weekend. I had to laugh the next day when my legs were sore and I finally realized that it was because of doing so many squats to get down on Kolbys level. Definitely worth it to capture these smiles!

Baby Drew

My brother and sister-in-law welcomed baby Drew into the family last week! They now have 4 children in 4 years… yes your prayers are appreciated. I got to spend time with the new baby the other day and I must admit that he is making me question our decision to wait a couple years to start a family. He is so precious!

The other kids have been adapting very well and the only fighting includes who gets to hold the baby. They are very proud siblings.

2008 Favorites: Wedding Party & Kids

I always love meeting new faces when I start a wedding day and then ending the day with hugs all around. I know it sounds ultra cheesy but seriously… I have met some great friends while shooting weddings. A while back I photographed a wedding and within the next couple years I shot 4 more weddings from people who were in that original wedding party. It was great to see the group of friends every few months. Megan – I’m waiting for a call from you to finish off the last of the group!

When it comes to wedding party photos I like to mix it up with traditional, creative and fun shots. Here are a few of my favorites from 2008, including some of just the kiddos.

2008 Favorites: Brides / Details

As I was choosing photos for the next round of ‘2008 Favorites’ I realized that I have too many wedding favorites and will need to break them into categories. Since it is the bride who is always the show stopper on the wedding day I have designated a category just for the ladies and their details.
