As the end of the year approaches, I thought it would be fun to look back at some of my favorites from 2008.  All week I’ll be posting various categories and kicking off the hit list is ‘Families and Children: 2008′.

Mathey Family

Nicole snagged me just in time for a last minute family session before Christmas. Like most little ones, Koen wasn’t too interested in having to sit still for pictures but in the end I think we still got some great smiles. 

Does anyone else see the humor in the next photo? ‘JOY’ is not what this little guy was feeling no matter how many funny faces daddy tried.

Happy Birthday Grant & Ben

My adorable nephews, Grant and Ben, turned 2 on Friday.  I can’t believe how fast they have grown… and how much trouble they can get themselves into.  Happy Birthday boys!!!

Joe & Darcy’s Wedding

Joe and Darcy’s December wedding was filled with twinkling lights, beautiful colors and amazing flowers. Darcy’s sister, Tricia Terpstra (owner of THE PETAL PUSHERS in Lynden) always does a great job with the flowers and held nothing back for this wedding.  I also fell in love with Darcy and the bridesmaid’s dresses…. simply stunning!
