Powell Family + Becca turns 1!

Check out this adorable family that I got to photograph at Hovander Park! Along with family photos I spent some time following Becca around who is turning 1 next month. Robin said that she’s never been able to get a nice photo of the kids together and hoped I could grab one … I’m thinking this will make her happy… how cute are these kiddos!

Heather + Allen

Yesterday provided the best wedding day weather one could ask for… A nice high overcast allowed for beautiful outdoor photos with no squinting or shadows and just the right temperature to keep everyone comfortable. Later in the day the sunshine broke loose for a fantastic outdoor ceremony and reception at Beau Lodge.

Heather and Allen have been together for 9 years and I think their families were just as excited as they were to see them tying the knot. Congrats you two… enjoy your honeymoon!

I learned a new trick from one of the bridesmaids … if you tell a 2 year old ring bearer that there is a spider in the bride’s bouquet, he will totally fall for your trick of trying to get him to take a photo with the bride!

Diane & Bob… the big day!

I must admit that I have become a little teary eyed as I post this… I can’t believe my beautiful sister-in-law Diane is married! Their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy for them! I promised them I’d post a sneak peak before they headed off on their honeymoon so here you go Bob and Diane…

Of course I wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to get a photo with my handsome man! Isn’t he adorable?

Bev & Theo: Engagement

I don’t know that I have ever laughed harder while taking engagement photos. Bev & Theo are such a riot and I cannot wait for their wedding this fall! They definitely enjoy the country so we met at Bertheson Park in Lynden for their engagement photos. The ol’ John Deere tractor they pulled out for a few photos brought back memories of when I first started driving…. yes I learned to drive on a tractor… I won’t deny it!

Timmer Family

The Timmer’s and I recently spent some time together down at Marine Park for some family photos. I was so excited when Rylee got out of the car in her adorable tutu because I had been craving the opportunity to photograph a ballerina. Thanks for making me smile Rylee!

After I spent some time with the kids I got to pull mom and day away for some alone time. Kevin and Stephana are such an adorable couple and I was excited to have the chance to photograph the 2 of them together.
