Heather & Allen: Engagement

It is always fun when a couple requests to do their engagement photos where he proposed. We get to run through the whole story as we walk around and of course the girl is all smiles as she recaps how he proposed. Heather and Allen met me at Whatcom Falls Park where they were up for anything. Heather was wearing a cute pair of heals that didn’t stop here from hiking through the park and up steep hills. She was even all for making her way down a muddy hillside in order to get these first couple photos.

Amanda & Nathan: May 17th

If Amanda was praying for sun on her wedding day, her prayers were definitely answered! The sun was blazing and I wanted the wedding party to still be alive by the time the ceremony started so we stayed in the shade for most of the time we were taking photos. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with Amanda and Nathan. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to participate in such a special day!

Shara + Billy

Shara and Billy chose to do their engagement photos at Boulevard park where Billy proposed. They even found the exact spot where Billy popped the question which of course deserved a kodak moment. Shara is a photographer herself so I am honored that she has trusted me with capturing the memories of her wedding day. I’m looking forward to the big day in October.

Amazing!

How cool is this guy! I grabbed this shot at Hovander park while taking some engagement photos. I am so impressed by the detail and colors that Peacocks show off.

This next one was taken a few months ago but in sticking with the theme of peacocks I’d thought I’d share it as well. They sure have a nice view!

Megan + Seth

Megan and Seth are planning a backyard wedding for August and I am so excited to see how all the plans come together. I met up with them recently to do some photos around their yard as well as a nearby lake which I hope to make use of on their wedding day.  Megan and Seth’s adorable dogs wanted to be in several of the photos … I love how their posing so perfectly in the first photo.
